All-Star students will take a two part Final Exam as we finish our studies in science this year. Part 1 of the Final Exam is a Lab Skills Practical Test. It will take place on Wednesday, May 10th. Part 2 of the Final Exam is a Written Test and will take place during Finals Week at the end of June.
Part 1 of the Exam: During this Hands-On part of the assessment you will be asked to demonstrate your ability to calculate density, accurately use a microscope, and create a line graph. We will be preparing for this portion of the exam in class as there is little that you can practice on your own at home. Online resources such as these are useful and are recommended for practice:

Part 2 of the Exam: During this Written part of the assessment you will answer multiple-choice style and extended-response style questions. This part of the Final Exam is comprehensive and challenging. You will need to study at home to properly prepare for this test. You will also spend time during science class preparing for this Written Test. Additional resources are available by clicking on the right side of this blog. As always, extra help is available during your lunch period.
