Respiratory and Excretory Units

Today we began the combined units of the Respiratory and Excretory systems.

The Respiratory system brings in air which, as you already know, is transported through the Circulatory system to all of the cells in your body.  It also removes the waste gas carbon dioxide each time you exhale.

Respiratory System = Gas Exchange

Since the Respiratory system is a short unit, it has been combined with the Excretory system and you will be taking ONE Test after we have finished learning the material in both of these units.  The Excretory system helps you remove waste products, too.
