Bob White Quail Release - Caleb Smith State Park on July 12, 2014

Thought I'd share some of the photos I took at this morning's Bobwhite Quail Release event at Caleb Smith State Park.  It was so nice to see so many of Team 7A students, other Great Hollow students, teachers, and even Mr. Scomillio there to be a part of our full grown quail's first moments of flight!

For those that were not there, at first the birds huddled together on the ground and then began to take off - some of them landed on and/or near some of the people in the crowd.  

Finally, the birds flew off into the park.

So proud of our school and our Team for taking part in this environmental project again this year!
