Circulatory Test - Wednesday, December 19th


All-Star students will take the Circulatory System Test this Wednesday, December 19th. This test is worth 100 points. Please bring a #2 pencil to class. Part of the test will be recorded onto a scantron answer sheet.     Index Cards= +2 pts   There will not be any bonus questions on the test to earn additional points.


Students should study all of the material in their binder; notes, do nows, homework assignments, labs, and handouts.

Study Guide:
-Blood
   Parts and their functions
   Definitions of hemoglobin and fibrin
-Blood Typing
   Which types can receive/donate from which
   Definitions of universal recipient/donor
   What is the Rh factor
-Blood Vessels
   Structure and Function
   Compare/Contrast them
   Role of valves in veins
-Heart
   Colored diagram
   What are the aorta, vena cava, pulmonary artery and pulmonary vein?
   Pathway of blood through the circulatory system (Circle/Square/Triangle diagram)
-Diseases/Disorders
   All diseases in the pink research packet
