Muscular and Skeletal Quiz - Wednesday, February 5th

All-Star students will take the Muscular and Skeletal system quiz Wednesday, February 5th during their science class.  Be sure to study both the Muscular and the Skeletal packets and bring them with you to class.

Nervous and Endocrine Systems Test - Tuesday, January 28th

All-Star students will take the Nervous and Endocrine Systems Test this Tuesday, January 28th. This test is worth 100 points and will contain some cumulative questions from previous units we have studied this year.

Please bring a #2 pencil to class.  Part of the test will be recorded onto a scantron answer sheet. Index Cards= +2 pts




Students should study all of the material in their binder for both of these units; do nows, notes, homework assignments, labs, and handouts.

Study Guide:
Neuron diagram and Neuron Notes (Functions/Types of Neurons)
Pathway of a Nerve Impulse (S.I.M) and what happens at the synapse
Reaction Time Lab
Brain diagram and Brain Notes (Functions of each part of the brain and the Central Nervous System)
Nervous System Quiz
Endocrine glands diagram
Endocrine hormones (where they are produced and their functions)
Fear article - Fight or Flight Response
Endocrine notes (ex:  Lock and Key)
Endocrine homework (Negative Feedback)

Respiratory/Excretory Test - Thursday, January 9, 2014

All-Star students will take the Respiratory and Excretory Systems Test this Thursday, January 9th. This test is worth 100 points and will contain some cumulative questions from previous units we have studied this year.

Please bring a #2 pencil to class.  Part of the test will be recorded onto a scantron answer sheet.  This test will also include a section where you will be asked to create a graph WITHOUT the assistance of a graphing checklist.
