Thought I'd share some of the photos I took at this morning's Bobwhite Quail Release event at Caleb Smith State Park.  It was so nice to see so many of Team 7A students there to be a part of our baby chick's first moments of flight!

For those that were not there, at first the birds huddled together on the ground and then began to take off - some of them landed on and/or near some of the people in the crowd.  (There is a photo below of a little boy who was hysterical laughing when one of our little birds landed on his head and stayed there for awhile).  Finally, the birds flew off into the park. 

So proud of our school and our Team for taking part in this environmental project again this year!
